Advisory Council
Food and Beverage Ontario’s CareersNOW! Advisory Council was established in 2021 at the launch of CareersNOW! — Ontario’s workforce development initiative connecting food and beverage processor employers with jobseekers and students.
The Advisory Council, which is composed of leaders from business, education, the non-profit sector, industry associations, and government, provides strategic direction and future planning for the program.
Council members are essential to the success of CareersNOW! playing a key role in the following.
- Provide Food and Beverage Ontario with expertise on program improvements and new ideas through direct input, surveys and consultations.
- Connect with colleagues on the Advisory Council to build a strong community for food & beverage workforce development.
- Share CareersNOW! information with members/clients/networks/stakeholders.
- Request CareersNOW! participation in events and organizational activities.
To support Advisory Council members in sharing information about CareersNOW! with their networks, members and contacts, Food and Beverage Ontario has created toolkits with communication assets such as social media posts, website banners, and email templates.
Advisory Council members are welcome to select the toolkit that is most relevant to their work and share the downloadable assets.
