Stephanie Cass

As Director Institutional Affairs, Corporate Communications and Public Relations for Ferrero Canada, Stephanie Minna Cass is responsible for building and maintaining Ferrero’s corporate reputation with government, consumers and other relevant stakeholders.  She is a passionate communicator and advocate for the food and beverage industry, bringing more than 20 years corporate experience across numerous internationally-recognized brands and businesses.   
Stephanie joined Ferrero Canada in 2017 to lead its government relations and corporate communications function. In this role, Stephanie supports the Canadian head office and the Brantford manufacturing facility, advocating on key issues that impact its local operations.  Over the past two years, she has developed collaborative relationships across all levels of government, ensuring a strong voice for the company and industry.  

Stephanie began her career as a journalist working at the Brantford Expositor in her hometown.  After several years as a public relations consultant, where she developed and executed award-winning communications strategies for a variety of clients, she made the move corporately and joined Kraft Canada as its Internal Communications Manager.  At Kraft, Stephanie honed her employee communications and change management experience to build a more comprehensive communications repertoire.  In 2004, she joined Cadbury Schweppes Canada, where she led brand public relations activities and internal communications for brands such as Trident, Dentyne, Maynards, Mott’s Clamato, Dr. Pepper, and Cadbury chocolate.  Following the Kraft acquisition of Cadbury and the subsequent creation of two separate companies, Kraft Canada and Mondelez Canada, Stephanie joined Mondelez (Oreo, Triscuit, Ritz, Cadbury, Maynards, Halls) to head up its Corporate and Government Affairs function, helping to lead and transition the company into a leading snack company in Canada.   

Stephanie has extensive communications experience across all disciplines including public affairs, issues and crisis management, change management, internal and external, government relations, and brand and corporate reputation building. As a former journalist, Stephanie understands the importance of compelling story telling and building the right narrative to support business operations. 

Stephanie has a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Journalism, specializing in newspaper reporting, and a Bachelor of Arts in History and French.
