Please join Food and Beverage Ontario on November 23rd at 10:00 AM as we welcome Sylvain Charlebois from the Agri-Food Analytics Lab at Dalhousie University and Kristina Farrell from Food and Beverage Canada for an enlightening webinar around plastics in the food and beverage sector.

Dr. Sylvain Charlebois from the Agri-Food Analytics Lab at Dalhousie University, explores the future of food packaging, encompassing the challenges, opportunities, and occasional unconventional innovations. In an ever-evolving landscape driven by shifting consumer preferences, sustainability imperatives, and technological advancements, Dr. Charlebois will discuss key trends such as sustainable materials, circular economies, and smart packaging solutions. He will also address the hurdles faced by the industry, including regulatory compliance and supply chain complexities.

Chris Conway and Kristina Farrell will provide an update from Food and Beverage Canada on work on this file to date.
