Join Food and Beverage Ontario (FBO) and Grant Synergy for an informative webinar designed to help Ontario food and beverage processors unlock government funding opportunities that support growth, sustainability, and market expansion. This session will provide practical guidance on how to identify eligible projects, navigate funding applications, and leverage available programs to strengthen competitiveness and reduce financial risk.
The webinar will highlight two major funding programs currently open to processors. The Sustainable Growth and Adoption Program (SGAP) supports clean technology adoption and sustainability enhancements, offering non-repayable matching funding between $40,000 and $100,000 (up to 40% of project costs) for activities such as equipment upgrades, operational assessments, consulting services, and project-related labour, with applications open from January 28 to March 18, 2026. Participants will also learn about the Market Diversification and Trade Resiliency Initiative, which provides funding to support market expansion through planning, sales and marketing execution, and equipment or technology investments — covering 25% to 35% of eligible costs and offering project funding of up to $499,999 for capacity and technology improvements, with applications opening February 17, 2026 and closing March 17, 2026.
