Preventive Control Plans: Safe Food Canada and FPHRC Team Up to Produce Online Course

Preventive control plans: Safe Food Canada and FPHRC team up to produce online course

Safe Food Canada is proud to collaborate with the Food Processing HR Council (FPHRC) in the development of an online course for preventive control plans (PCP).

With the upcoming regulations stemming from the Safe Food for Canadians Act, having a PCP in place is one type of requirement we can expect. Get prepared with this upcoming online course.

This program is designed for food processors of all sized that need to understand the new Canadian food safety regulatory requirements in place. Interactive and practical, this online training introduces users to the main elements of food safety hazard analysis and risk-based PCPs. Businesses are given tools to implement these plans in their operation.

The online course will be of special interest to smaller and mid-sized food businesses that may not have previously considered the need for a PCP.
